About us
Dr Kaufmann serves as chief medical officer of Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. He is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon and is fellowship trained in dermatologic cosmetic surgery. In 2020, Dr Kaufmann was elected President-Elect of the American Academy of Dermatology, and has been awarded five AAD Presidential Citations for contributions to the organization. Recognized as one of America's Top Dermatologists by the Consumers' Research Council of America, and as a New York Superdoctor, Dr Kaufmann has been featured on Good Morning America, and in the NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Good Housekeeping, and Shape magazines. He is a frequent lecturer for prominent professional organizations and on grand rounds.
