Mary Kay Knight-Macheca, ANP, is a certified adult nurse practitioner and certified diabetes care and education specialist who sees patients 18 years and older. She treats various endocrinology conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disease, Cushing’s syndrome, and conditions affecting the adrenal glands. She also offers education about these conditions, including treatment, lifestyle management, and monitoring. Mary Kay believes that building long-term relationships with her patients and optimizing their health is the most rewarding aspect of her work. She focuses on patient education and helping patients integrate diet, exercise, and medication management into their daily lives. This practice is a part of BJC Medical Group of Missouri.
