Dr. Masoor Kamalesh is a compassionate and skilled cardiologist at Prairie Cardiovascular - Effingham, who is devoted to delivering exceptional patient care and improving heart health in the community. With a wealth of clinical experience, he has held key leadership roles, including Chief of Cardiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana/Champaign and Director of Clinical Research in Cardiology at the Indianapolis VA Medical Center.

Dr. Masoor Kamalesh earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College at the University of Delhi and completed his fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is highly regarded for his expertise in advanced echocardiographic techniques, which he uses to diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions with precision and care.
