What a pleasure to follow Oxford City Schools graduate Curtis Sanders as he starts his college experience at Alabama A&M University. In May, Curtis was one of the first recipients of a scholarship in my name. I had the chance to catch up with him last week and learn how things are going for him.

Q: Curtis, what major did you choose at Alabama A&M?
C: I chose Electrical Engineering.
Q: What are your goals for your freshman year?
C: I want to achieve a 3.5 GPA and have perfect attendance in all my classes.
Q: What's the best experience you've had at A&M this fall?
C: Going to the football games has been the best experience.
