About us

McFerron Quality Meats owned by John Young Enterprises, Inc. is a fully State inspected meat processing plant located in Nowata, Oklahoma. Nine employees are involved in the process of producing quality, fresh meat products for both retail and wholesale purchases.
It is our belief that value and excellent customer service are what keep our customers coming back. We work very closely with area farmers and ranchers to ensure quality animals are provided for processing the meat products we sell. The value of buying locally helps boost the economy in our own back door!
Buying locally also provides the value of having fresh products cut to your specifications! To ensure food safety, we collaborate each day with the State Inspector from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food & Forestry. Our food safety practices mirror those set out by the USDA.
