About us
Megan Schellinger, DO, MS, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Prisma Health OB Center in the Upstate, as well as a practicing physician in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, Dr. Schellinger completed medical school at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine and a master’s degree in clinical research at Indiana University. She is board certified in both fields by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Clinically, Dr. Schellinger practices the full scope of maternal-fetal medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, maternal consultation, and the management of medically complex pregnancy with a special interest in maternal diabetes and nutrition. In partnership with the BlueCross BlueShield Foundation and Diabetes Free SC, she currently runs the Upstate MOMs in Control of Diabetes Program for Prisma Health. This program provides comprehensive prenatal, diabetes and nutritional care to our patients. She finds her profession truly rewarding and at times extremely humbling.
