Megan Rich Physical Therapy
About us
Our therapists use a hands on approach to achieve optimal outcomes. Manual therapy such as massage, myofascial release, strain-counterstrain, joint mobilization to name a few. These techniques are proven to reduce pain, improve range of motion, and strengthen. Whether the patient is being seen for a neuromuscular deficency or a sports related injury manual therapy will offers the maximum benefit to a fast recovery. Our warm water pool provides an excellent medium to conduct physical rehabilitation. Aquatic therapy is used with a variety of weight and non-weight bearing exercises. The unique properties of buoyancy, support and resistance enhance exercise. Improved strength, posture, stabilization, balance, coordination and flexibility are only a few of the benefits. In depths of 4' and 6', patients float, walk, and jog as well as perform isolated arm and leg exercises. Some patients use the water for tractioning their spine to relieve back pain. In addition, equipment such as flutter boards, fliers, hand paddles, barbells, floating belts, weights, and running leashes are used to establish a fitness routine.
