About us
Melanie J Yanke is a Certified Nurse-Midwife over 15 years of experience caring for pregnant people, birth, postpartum, newborn care for the first month and women's health. She is one of the founding midwives of the Dar a Luz Birth & Health Center and served as Clinical Director for 10 years. In 2021, she shifted gears to follow her dream of continuing the same empowering care into pediatrics. She is now a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She is passionate about breastfeeding support, tongue-tie evaluation and laser releases. Helping families grow and succeed are one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
