Melanie Melton - Allstate Agent in Northeast is one of the most unprofessional agents I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! When she returns your call it is days even upto a week later. Her staff is usually younger college age that are unfamiliar with insurance and can not answer questions. And when it comes to a claim forget it! She makes things as difficult as possible and tries to make you feel incompetent for even asking or bringing questions to her attention. If you have a problem she always refers you to the generic 800-Allstate number. BEWARE! Allstate as a company great but highly recommend you choose any other agent! Wrote a policy incorrectly ended up costing me over $17,000. Under insured my property by nearly $50,000. Placed a 5% deductible on homeowners policy without my permission to gain business.
