I hold a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University (APA accredited), as well as a Master’s Degree in Research Psychology from Villanova University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. In addition to my work with Portrait Health Centers, I work full-time as a psychologist for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Throughout my formal training and employment, I have worked in diverse settings including campus and community mental health clinics, large medical centers, intensive outpatient/partial hospitalization programs, county probation departments, human service agencies, and long-term care and rehabilitation facilities.

I work with patients to identify the maintaining factors of behavioral and emotional issues in their lives. In practice, I use proven-effective treatment approaches that will help you understand your difficulties and how to best overcome them. I am experienced in treatment approaches that focus on the intersection of thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, as well as on more cutting-edge acceptance-based and related approaches. At the same time, my work is patient-centered, and I work to help patients discover what treatment approaches work best for them and they are most comfortable and satisfied with for the best possible outcomes.
