About us
Dr. Michael Willenborg is a foot and ankle specialist who has been serving the Flower Mound community since 2007. A native of Arlington, Texas, he played collegiate golf at UT Arlington before earning his medical degree from UT-Houston and completing his orthopedic residency at Wake Forest. He later completed fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery in Houston. Dr. Willenborg treats a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, fractures, arthritis, tendon disorders, and deformities like bunions and flatfoot. He emphasizes minimally invasive techniques, total ankle replacement, and advanced implant technologies. He is committed to personalized care, helping patients return to the activities they love with the least disruption possible.
