The Mid-Atlantic Skin Surgery Institute operates under the direction of George K. Verghese, MD. Along with his team of dedicated and professional staff, Dr. Verghese provides excellent, comprehensive care for the entire spectrum of medical dermatologic disorders. Placing special emphasis on the prevention and treatment of skin cancer, we offer the most precise method of removing common skin cancers: Mohs micrographic surgery. This surgical technique achieves the highest cure rate of any treatment for skin cancer, while preserving the greatest amount of normal tissue. In addition to medical skin care, we offer a variety of elective cosmetic skin care treatments such as Botox, dermal fillers (Juvéderm), Fraxel, Latisse, IPL skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal and chemical peels.
