About us
Migdalia Cortina, MD, specializes in the female reproductive system with a focus on obstetrics. She cares for women across all life stages, providing preventive care, family planning, pregnancy, gynecology and menopause management. Dr. Cortina also offers minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, endometrial ablations, contraception and care for high-risk pregnancies.
She takes a holistic approach to care, considering the social and cultural factors that influence treatment. Dr. Cortina also integrates trauma-informed care into her practice. She moved to Arizona from Chicago, Illinois.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Cortina likes tapping into her creative side as an outlet for stress and enjoys bullet journaling. She is also a Harry Potter fan, "Pelotoner" and loves to do strength training.
