Having attended the National Chimney Sweep Training School in 2005, Michael Carlson has excelled at continuing his education in fields relevant to chimney science. Mike was once certified in the installation and troubleshooting of both gas hearth appliances as well as pellet stoves and has been a licensed contractor by the state of California in metal venting. Mike's Clean Sweeps adheres to national standards such as: National Fire Protection Association Manufacturer's Installation Directions International Residential Code Authority Having Jurisdiction As a voting member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild the technicians at Mike's Clean Sweeps have instant access to a panel of experts who can advise in unusual circumstances. Our technicians appreciate the fact that education is lifelong and that continuing education credits with the CSIA is the best way to renew certification. We protect our work with two million dollar liability insurance and insure all repairs for three years from the date of service. We are happy to inspect chimneys throughout the entire bay area.
