About us
Mira Women’s Health & Midwifery is a boutique private Obstetrics and Gynecology medical practice in Boca Raton and Hollywood, Florida.
Mira was founded in 2024 by two board-certified OB/GYN physicians, Dr. Konsker, and Dr. Woodbury, with the single goal of providing world-class, highly-experienced, personalized OB/GYN care to women of all ages in their community.
They chose the name ‘Mira’ for this vision because of its many-layered and poignant meanings. In the Romance languages, it means “wonder” and “to see.” In the Slavic languages, it means “peace.” In Sanskrit, it means “ocean” or “sea,” and in Hebrew, it means “rising water.” It is the Latin origin of the word “miracle” and in Arabic can denote a “female ruler.
