About us
Modern Vascular in Kansas City (Overland Park, Kansas) is the first Modern Vascular clinic to open in Kansas. Between 1997 – 2013, amputations of the lower extremities increased by more than 17%, according to the Amputee Coalition. Dr. Juan Carlos Correa is a board-certified vascular surgeon and will serve as the managing physician for Modern Vascular in Kansas City. Dr. Correa transitioned to treating PAD in an outpatient setting using new techniques after establishing a successful practice as a vascular surgeon. Dr. Correa has the respect of the Kansas City medical community. He speaks both English and Spanish fluently. He also is actively teaching at Menorah Medical Center and the University of Missouri Kansas City.
