Monique Phan, MD, earned her medical degree at Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz. She completed an internship and residency at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. Dr. Phan is a hospitalist -- a doctor who specializes in caring for patients in the hospital. She says she likes to educate her patients about their medical problems and believes that talking to her patients and helping to solve their medical concerns are what make her a good doctor.
