About us
In 1972, our owner's grandmother opened Montelongo's Mexican Restaurant. Born and raised in Mexico herself, she could not speak English when she came here. But that didn't stop her from living her dream. She started this business with little money but a lot of heart. With hard work, dedication and love, she built this restaurant into the go-to spot it is today.
For more than 50 years, this family-owned restaurant has been serving the Lubbock, TX community. Our community. Come by and see what authentic Mexican cuisine tastes like at our family-friendly restaurant. We promise you won't be disappointed.
