About us
"I’ve had a desire to serve others through a career in medicine from a very young age. This desire continued to grow when, as a high school student, I had the honor of caring for patients (who were often neighbors and friends) while also being cared for as a patient with chronic illness. Experiencing the unique challenges of both working in and seeking medical care in a rural region ignited my passion for rural health care. I am specifically pursuing rural family medicine because I enjoy the opportunity to be a point of first contact for patients and helping them navigate the health care system with the tools and insight I’ve gained as both a chronic illness patient and health professional."
