After attending the University of California, San Diego, Christopher S. Morris graduated from San Diego State University in 1989 where he played on the 1987 national championship rugby team. He graduated from Brigham Young University Law School in 1992.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Mr. Morris immediately went to work for the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. Starting out as a prosecutor, Mr. Morris transferred to the civil division and for almost 10 years defended the City and its employees in complex litigation ranging from civil rights cases to complex construction disputes.

Under former City Attorney Mike Aguirre, Mr. Morris served as the Head of the Criminal Division, overseeing the prosecution of the over 30,000 misdemeanor cases the City Attorney’s Office filed each year.

In 2008, Mr. Morris left the City Attorney’s Office for private practice. As a principal in the law firm of Aguirre, Morris & Severson, LLP, Mr. Morris handled all types of litigation including class actions, lender liability, financial fraud, professional malpractice , personal injury and criminal defense matters.
In May 2014, Mr. Morris started his own firm specializing in all types of litigation.
