Mrs. Candi's Cakes in Lufkin is an incompetent business. She was a no show for my sons wedding. Her fee was paid 2 weeks in advance per her request and wedding date confirmed. She was to deliver Bride and grooms cake at 1 pm for a 2 o'clock wedding. When she was called 1 hour before the wedding she stated she didn't have them down for the day. An immediate refund was requested and she stated her bank was closed. We requested she get the money from the ATM, all we heard was silence. So basically she spent the money and did not provide the service she had been paid to do. I would never ever recommend someone to use her for business. She should be embarrassed. She never once gave an apology.

Mrs. Candi's Cakes in Lufkin is difficult to work with and does not complete orders correctly. The cakes did not taste good and were ugly. She is not prepared and makes no apologies for her poor work. Do not use this business!
