Dr. Kimberly Cummings Whitman, a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW), specializing in challenging, complex, and intense issues with individuals and families. With a strong background in social work and ongoing education, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective mental health support to individuals seeking healing, holistic wellness, and personal growth. In my doctoral work, at Tulane University, I extensively researched psychedelic-assisted therapies and newer, cutting-edge treatment and wellness practices. They work!
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, prioritizing the establishment of a safe and trusting therapeutic alliance.
