About us

MUSC Health Lancaster Rehabilitation Center is a dedicated 23-bed acute rehabilitation unit, featuring all-private rooms located on the 7th floor of MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center. Our facility includes two state-of-the-art inpatient therapy gyms and a serene outdoor area, designed to enhance your rehabilitation experience.

We offer a comprehensive rehabilitation program with a multidisciplinary approach, providing 3 hours of therapy per day delivered by our expert team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. Throughout your rehabilitation journey, you will be supported by a dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Physicians, and Licensed Social Workers, all focused on a holistic approach to your recovery.

Our team creates personalized care and treatment plans tailored to your specific needs, ensuring you get the most out of your stay with us. We collaborate closely with you and your loved ones to set meaningful goals, offering adaptive equipment as needed to help you achieve them.

The average length of stay in our acute rehabilitation setting is around two weeks, though this may vary based on your individual treatment needs. Our primary goal is to work with you to establish a new normal and equip you with the essential skills needed to return to your community.
