Dr Dhawan chose a career in oncology because she is passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing cancer. It is a field where she can provide compassionate care to patients and contribute to advancements in cancer treatment and patient outcomes. Her philosophy is to provide multidisciplinary care while prioritizing a patient’s quality of life. As a hematologist-oncologist, Dr Dhawan works with patients with all types of cancers and blood disorders. However, she has a special interest in thoracic and gastrointestinal oncology. Her patients are the biggest influence in her life. Witnessing their strength, resilience and determination in the face of cancer inspires her every day.
