Change is hard and reaching out to a stranger is scary. Often times we doubt that anyone will understand or can help. Our doubt blocks us from doing the one thing that can help, reaching out. Years pass where we could be living more, laughing harder, and feeling closer to people. I have 17 years experience in the mental health field and I am in personal recovery from an addiction that almost took my life.
