About us
Nicholas Colwell, M.D., is a Physician of Ear, Nose and Throat at Rapid City Clinic, 4150 5th Street. Dr. Colwell earned a Doctor of Medicine from University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from North Dakota State University in Fargo. Prior to that, he acquired an Associate Arts Degree from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. He was a four-year letter winner for the baseball team at Iowa Central and North Dakota State and pursued a brief professional baseball career with the Evansville Otters of the Frontier League.
Previously, Dr. Colwell was Resident Physician in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics in Madison.
