About us

Nicole was born and raised in NW Ohio and is a Genoa Area High School alumni. She attended The University of Toledo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Chemistry in 2008. She then continued on into UT’s Physician Assistant program and earned her Masters of Science in Biomedical Science in 2010. Nicole is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has been working at Mitchell Dermatology since 2011. She is a member of Michigan Dermatology Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, for which she is currently working to become a Diplomate fellow. Nicole also has 3 years experience in emergency medicine.

Nicole especially enjoys treating medical dermatological concerns in patients of all ages and has gained extensive knowledge in psoriasis, eczema, acne, rosacea, various rashes and skin cancer. She also is an advocate for not only patients, but students as well and sits on the Advisory Board of Bowing Green State University’s Pre-Professional Program.

When not at work, Nicole can be found chasing after and carrying for her three young children and supporting her husband’s wrestling program. She loves spending time at home with her family, participating in bible studies, traveling, cooking, being outdoors, and watching/playing sports.
