About us
Nik Ooi is a board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner, and has been in practice since 2019. He received his nurse practitioner degree from The Catholic University of America (Washington, DC) and Wilkes University (Pennsylvania). Nik is originally from Malaysia, spent 10 years in Vancouver, Canada, prior to moving to Virginia in 2003. Nik has worked as an ICU, Emergency Department, and Cardiac Unit registered nurse at Martha Jefferson Sentara Hospital in Charlottesville and Inova Mount Vernon Hospital in Alexandria.
Nik's passion for working with a geriatric population includes five years volunteering and working in a 190-bed nursing home and hospice facility in DC.
