
Nikita Malakhov, M.D.
About us
Dr. Malakhov is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell Medicine and is caring for patients with hematologic malignancies as part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Brooklyn. Dr. Malakhov received his MD with Distinction in Research honors from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine where he was also selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Malakhov sought to complete his residency training at an institution with a strong focus on hematology and oncology. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine. He subsequently completed his hematology and medical oncology fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Malakhov has developed a particular interest and expertise in hematologic malignancies focused on lymphoma and specifically Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. He believes that establishing a strong relationship with his patients and their loved ones is one of the most important aspects of providing medical care. Dr. Malakhov provides world-class patient-centered care to his patients.
