About us
Dr. Nitya Sthalekar received her medical degree from University of Mumbai in India, and she completed her internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. She went on to finish her cardiovascular medicine fellowship at St. Vincent Hospital/University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. Dr. Sthalekar then went to Yale University School of Medicine/Yale New Haven Hospital to complete her fellowship in advanced heart failure & heart transplantation. She currently practices at Georgia Heart Institute.
