About us

Norma Alejandra Bueno Martinez, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with training in advanced cardiology imaging. Her clinical interests include congenital heart disease, echocardiography, fetal cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging, and clinical cardiology. 
She’s also an assistant professor of pediatric cardiology in the Department of Pediatrics at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. 
Bueno Martinez received her medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Chihuahua Facultad de Medicina. She completed her residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her pediatric cardiology fellowship training was completed at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She also completed a cardiology advanced imaging fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.  
Outside of work, Bueno Martinez is a black belt in Lima Lama.
