About us
Telling the Stories of the People, Places and Evens of North Carolina. The NORTH CAROLINA SPORTS NETWORK was founded in 2023 by Mike Waddell & David Glenn, who bring a unique mix of expertise to the table.
Glenn is a two-time NSMA North Carolina Sportscaster of the Year, an award-winning author, reporter, entrepreneur and a licensed attorney, who has covered the Atlantic Coast Conference for more than 36 years.
Waddell is a former NCAA Division I Director of Athletics & 3-time professional sports Team President, who started his career as a play-by-play broadcaster at UNC, UVa, Appalachian State & West Point + television play-by-play with ESPN & FOX Sports Ohio. The Western NC native attended his first UNC game in 1969 at 9 months old.
