Our two dining experiences at Northland, I can honestly say, were as different as night and day from each other. Upon our first visit, the service was both personable and prompt, and the food was far better than that hinted at, by the chill of Northland's spartan atmosphere.

So expecting the same, good food and personable service, we returned once again. This time however the service was simply abysmal, as even though they were not at all busy, we were very sadly disappointed, by the wilted room temperature meal served to us.

We were tired after a long day of house hunting, and being ravenous as well, we ate in resigned silence as we dismissed our growing annoyance. Then as we meekly paid for our meal, I offered a quiet expression of our disappointment, to the nice young woman at the register.
