About us
Welcome to Portland’s top-rated, family-owned hostel, nestled in the heart of the historic and vibrant Northwest District! Our hostel offers the charm of the local neighborhood while being within walking distance of downtown attractions, Washington Park, the Rose and Japanese Gardens, and a variety of hiking trails. We host daily events, including walking tours, beer & wine tastings, live music, and trivia nights. Our on-site cafe offers food & drinks from 7am til late. For over 25 years, our mission has been to create a welcoming, affordable, and safe space that connects Portland with our global community of travelers, making a positive impact in our neighborhood and beyond.
