Texas Route 55 will lead you right to our gate. Camp Wood has an average of 205 sunny days annually and ZERO snowfall. Our typical temperature range is 53ᵒ – 79ᵒ. It’s pleasant weather year-round. So Snowbirds, leave your mittens behind and enjoy your dream vacation any time of the year.
Relax on our ¼ mile of riverfront along the Nueces River, where the water is as clear as glass. Just right for tubing, bass fishing, and wading. Less than a mile upstream is Lake Nueces where you can kayak, jump from the cliffs, and enjoy hiking, birding, and swimming.
