Norwell VNA and Hospice serves over 22 communities on the South Shore with home care and hospice services, specialty programs, and community health and education. Norwell VNA and Hospice is the only independent nonprofit home health care agency serving Boston's South Shore. Founded by a small group of caring individuals dedicated to the mission of "neighbors helping neighbors," the Norwell VNA has provided essential health care and education to South Shore residents since 1920. The agency's reputation for providing cost-effective, exceptional services with innovation and integrity has established its position as a regional leader in 21st century home health care. Now known as NVNA and Hospice, the agency has consistently (seven years straight!) been named to the HomeCare EliteTM Top Agencies in the country, in fact, the only agency in Massachusetts to do so.
