Dr. Nyagon G. Duany is an orthopedic surgeon and orthopedic sports medicine specialist with Norton Orthopedic Institute. Dr. Duany earned her medical degree from Indiana University, Bloomington. She completed her orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University in Washington D.C., and fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
While Dr. Duany’s primary focus is on sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, she also sees patients with general orthopedic issues such as fractures, arthritis and joint replacement surgery.
Her interest in sports medicine began after she sustained a sports injury that required treatment while playing Division I basketball as an undergraduate.
