This cute patient is visiting Oakhurst for a wellness exam! Here, Dr. Buonasera uses a stethoscope to make sure his heart and lungs sound healthy. Dogs that partake in doggie daycare are closely monitored, well cared for, and enjoy a day of play. Just ask this adorable pup! We’re a Cat Friendly Practice! This means we take extra steps to minimize stress by creating a cat-friendly environment and training our medical team in feline behavior and gentle handling techniques. Trained technicians perform laser therapy on this patient to aid in faster healing and provide an added level of comfort. This is a multi-purpose exam room used for those important, routine wellness visits, and ultrasound and x-ray consultations. The medical team at Oakhurst is highly trained to safely perform a wide-range of surgical procedures with extreme care and precision. Every surgery performed at our facility involves rigorous pain management and vital monitoring, and utilizes modern technology and equipment. The in-house lab at Oakhurst Veterinary Center is capable of analyzing an array of diagnostic tests such as blood work, skin scrapings, fecal samples, and more, with efficiency and accuracy.

Since 1977, Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital has been treating the dogs, cats, and pocket pets of Seminole, FL, and surrounding areas. We are a full-service, American Animal Hospital Association accredited, Cat Friendly Practice certified, and low-stress handling veterinary hospital. Our services include wellness care, sick visits, vaccinations, microchipping, nutrition and weight management, parasite testing and prevention, acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Herbal Medicine, laser therapy, x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, pet dentistry, surgery including spay and neuter, cherry eye repair, mass removal, pain management, and more. We are open six days a week and we look forward to meeting you and your pet.
