Kip Cyprus has been working with Ocean Development as a developer and contractor for years and he’s a big reason why I invest with them. He knows the area market, builds nice places and since they also manage their own properties for investors, it makes it pretty painless to invest.
Ocean Development takes good care of their properties. There are so many awful landlords out there and bad management companies it’s nice to find one that actually cares about their properties. Amy Cyprus, who runs the management branch Ocean Properties, is also really nice and easy to work with. I think her husband, Kip C Cyprus does the contracting.
Ocean Development manages a few of my properties that I purchased from them years ago. The returns have been good and it seems like Kip and Amy take good care of the property and tenants. I’ve had some bad experiences with management companies in the past but managing your own property is too much trouble. So it’s been nice to have these guys around.
I have rented from Ocean Properties before and they have nice places for the price. Amy and the rest of the girls in the office are easy to deal with and they take good A lot of the properties in South LA don’t even have central heat so it’s nice to get heat and modern amenities at a lower price. When or if I move again, I’ll probably see what else they have.
