About us

Open Arms Christian Child Development Center is a ministry of the Lutheran Church. Based in Laurel, Md., it offers care and educational programs for children that develops learning experiences through play, bible lessons, stories, finger plays, music, creative art, science and math exploration and language. Service offerings include singing and prayer each morning, weekly chapel, state-of-the-art security, fenced outdoor play area and summer camp for school age children, among others. The center offers programs, such as full day preschool, half day preschool, before and after school care, as well as a program for infants and toddlers. Open Arms Christian Child Development Center has received accreditation by the National Lutheran School Association.
