Dr. Orest O. Kayder is a vascular and interventional radiologist with clinical interests in venous thromboembolism therapy, central venous access and dialysis interventions, hepatobiliary procedures, and liver-directed oncologic treatments including ablation and embolization. He specializes in performing complex, minimally invasive, image-guided procedures with a strong focus on patient-centered care.

Dr. Kayder earned his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2019. He completed a surgical internship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency and early specialization in interventional radiology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University. He then completed a vascular and interventional radiology indepndent residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Known for his thoughtful and thorough approach, Dr. Kayder helps patients feel comfortable and confident during procedures by prioritizing clear communication and individualized care. His clinical strength lies in combining technical expertise with a calm, compassionate bedside manner.

Dr. Kayder has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and has presented his work at both regional and national conferences, including the Society of Interventional Radiology. During his residency, he served as chief radiology resident, underscoring his commitment to fostering collaboration, mentorship, and continued learning.

He is an active member of the Society of Interventional Radiology and the Society of Interventional Oncology. Dr. Kayder remains dedicated to advancing his field while providing safe, effective, and personalized care to every patient he serves.
