About us

PAEP is a small non-profit, social service agency established in 1986, operational in 1987. Our mission is to help improve the health and quality of life of Pacific Asian residents of King County, through empowered community groups of Filipinos, Laotians, Miens, Hmongs, Tongans, Polynesians, and other needy Pacific Asian elderly persons and their families residing in King County.

Currently, we have 5 partnerships with respected Community Based Organizations (CBO’s), using a consultative and participatory management style required by the founder of PAEP. These groups meet at the following meal sites:

Filipino Community Center: 5740 M.L. King Way Dr., Seattle, WA; American Polynesian Organization on Mondays; Hmongs/Miens & Laotians on Wednesdays and Fridays
Beacon United Methodist Church: 7301 Beacon Avenue South, Seattle, WA 98108; Tongans every Tuesday

Neighborhood: Greater Duwamish
