Paint the City Purple Campaign™ (PTCP) is a global initiative based in Greensboro, NC, dedicated to uniting communities in the fight against domestic and gender-based violence. Through educational workshops, teen safe dating programs, survivor storytelling, and empowering events, PTCP raises awareness and offers direct support to those affected. Founded by Portia Shipman, the campaign champions healing, resilience, and advocacy while honoring the lives impacted by violence. PTCP partners with individuals, organizations, and businesses to amplify their mission and create safer, more compassionate communities.
