A highly personalized boutique dental practice, Palm Branch Dentistry is a private, dentist-owned operation that puts patients first. We stand behind the meaning of our name: Across cultures and centuries, the palm branch has signified goodness and peace, integrity and grace. It’s also a nod to general dentist Dr. Allison Thompson’s beloved home state of South Carolina. Our brand of Southern hospitality is authentic. When patients walk through our doors, they feel appreciated, like they belong here.
Dr. Thompson specializes in cosmetic dentistry (teeth whitening, veneers), rehabilitative dentistry (crowns, implants, bridges, dentures), as well as general dentistry and preventive care including teeth cleaning, dental sealants and fillings. She treats chronic conditions like TMJ, with custom nightguards or Botox injections. Esthetic rejuvenation is a specialty at the practice. Dr. Thompson has the training in assessing facial structure and an artistic eye to direct Botox injections to soften muscles responsible for lines and wrinkles, including frown lines and crow’s feet.
We treat patients like people, not just a set of teeth. Our highly trained hygienists oversee the dental cleaning and begin the process of educating the patient. Even the mechanics of a preventive check-up are heightened here! Dr. Thompson invested in the DryShield Isolation System, a device that provides strong suction and more comfort for the client.

As a resident of Brookhaven, it was important for Dr. Thompson to stay close to her community. She’s involved with several local charities and organizations and enjoys giving back.
