James W. McConkie is an experienced lawyer who grew up in New York City and London, England. He earned his law degree from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Following graduation, he joined the staff of U.S. Congressman Gunn McKay (D. Utah), eventually becoming Chief of Staff. In 1977, Jim was appointed as an Assistant United States Attorney in the State of Utah and successfully prosecuted criminal cases. He left the office in 1980 to run for Utah Attorney General.

Judson joined Parker & McConkie Injury Lawyers’ litigation team in 2023. He is a devoted who has dedicated himself to representing clients harmed by the careless and wrongful actions of others. Time and again, his advocacy has secured successful resolutions in various personal injury cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries, brain injuries, and wrongful deaths, as well as injuries stemming from defective products, industrial accidents, trucking accidents, governmental liability, automobile accidents, slip and falls, and dog bites.
