About us

Patrick M. Battey, M.D.earned his medical degree with honors from Emory University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in general surgery and fellowship in vascular surgery at Emory University affiliated hospitals. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons, Society for Vascular Surgery and Atlanta Vascular Society. Dr. Battey has recently served as interim CEO of Piedmont Healthcare. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of Piedmont Healthcare. Dr. Battey is board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. His interests include surgery for carotid artery occlusive disease and repair of abdominal aortic aneursyms. Dr. Battey has practiced at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital since 1985.
