He holds associate degrees in Applied Science & Emergency Medical Services as well as Bachelors in Biological Science & Biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University. He attended Barry University school of podiatric Medicine serving multiple terms as president of the SALSAL (Save a Limb, Save a Life) organization, regularly lectured at local hospitals, and participated in research involving diabetic amputation prevention as a podiatrist.
