Pediatrics West PC in Groton is not starting off on the right foot. I recently moved into this area and found them through my insurance medical listing. Anyway, his 1st appoint is suppose to be for just updating my son's immunization shots. On the morning before the appointment my son had a fever and cold and was up all night. The very next morning with little sleep, I called the office to tell then that I need to rescedule the appoint because my son has a fever. The nurse or secretary told that there would be a $75 cancellation fee!! Really? I asked? What is the point of going if he can't even get the shots done? N now he is finally asleep. She said,to avoid the cancellation fee. He an just come in to meet te doctor. I said, no. I will have to reschedule. I am not bring him there just to meet the doctor. When my son is finally getting some sleep now! That's just crazy! I am not liking this place already! So frustrated! I need to find a better pediatric place for my son. I place that's not all about money and nickel and diming their patients!
