'When Alfred Peet opened his first coffee store in Berkeley, CA in 1966, he quietly ignited a revolution that forever changed the expectations for American coffee drinkers. Today, we continue to believe the only way to craft exceptional coffee is by selecting the world’s finest beans and hand roasting them in small batches to achieve the utmost flavor. We hand deliver each coffee to ensure freshness and hand craft each beverage at our coffeebars. We are committed to social responsibility from source to cup; we roast our coffees in the first LEED® Gold certified coffee roasting facility in the U.S.'
