Rebecca was truly terrible. She completely fouled up the case, then blamed the problems on me. When she started lying to me and about me and not responding or doing anything she promised, I finally fired her. Then she sent me the most snide nasty disparaging letter, for no reason but spite. We only received a 25% refund. She kept $1600 for herself, despite failure to deliver what she promised on many many occasions. Suddenly that wasn't possible, after more than a year, because she discovered something, allegedly. She discovered nothing. Nothing changed but her. Her explanations were contradictory nonsense. If the case was a problem, it had the same problem from the start, in March of 2012, and she should never have taken the fee upfront. One way or another she failed to deliver competent representation or anything much of value, just lots and lots of invoices. She was pretty snotty and dismissive the whole time to add insult to injury.
